Australian and Ethiopian Opal Pendant in Sterling

This gorgeous, handcrafted pendant was made with 2 kinds of opal; an ethereal Australian opal doublet cabochon, set in solid Sterling silver wire with three fiery Ethiopian opals, set in delicate herringbone weaves. The entire silver surface was oxidized naturally with egg yolk, polished, then sealed in a coat of clear lacquer to resist tarnish and preserve the aged finish of the piece over time. All opals emit blue, green yellow, orange and pink fire. Wicked! The pendant comes suspended on an 18" Sterling silver chain and measures 38x28x17mm (1.5" x 1.1" x 0.7"). This is a one-of-a-kind item and there won't ever be another like it!
