Petoskey Stone and Silver Curly-Q Pendant

Description

Petoskey stone is fossilized coral (Hexagonaria percarinata) which inhabited the ancient shallow seas of northwest Michigan and it's upper peninsula more than 350 million years ago. Petoskey stones formed later on by glaciation; plucking bits of the fossilized coral from the bedrock and depositing them throughout the region.

This pendant is composed of a simple, Petoskey stone slab, elaborately wrapped in genuine 0.925 Sterling silver-filled wire, and suspended on a 20" long silver-plated chain (may be shortened upon request for no additional charge or substituted with nude suede cord). The stone has been polished to a glossy finish on the front and left only partially polished on the back (to retain the original appearance of the stone but create a smooth finish for the comfort of the wearer). The pendant measures 70x53x12mm (2.8" x 2.1" x 0.47"). Rugged, organic and gorgeous, this pendant truly reflects the raw beauty of nature's finest treasures.

Your pendant will arrive safely in a jeweler's gift box, which will be inserted into a padded bubble envelope. You may add a custom message which I will print in a lovely script font and insert within the gift box, if you wish. I can also gift wrap this item for no additional charge, if desired. The pendant will automatically come with a Petoskey stone information card.
